Linda Hudson is a therapist in practice in an area West of Atlanta, Georgia. When she came to me, she had an outdated website, both in terms of technology and content. She was shifting her focus and needing a fresh design that would bring her practice forward.
This was my first project working alongside Charlotte Riley of A.C. Riley Communications and, man, it was such a great experience. It gave me so much confidence to put my trust in Charlotte to handle all of Linda’s copy needs and I was j
ust so pleased with how quickly we were able to complete this project.
When I decided to update my website I turned to a friend who had recently done the same. I loved her site so much that I asked who she had used for the design . She gave me the link to Jami. Once I contacted her, I knew we were a fit. She was warm, charming, professional and clearly very experienced in capturing the perfect solution for what was needed.
Even though I knew I could write it myself, we decided I needed someone who could see me from a different perspective and capture my vision a little differently from where I had been. Jami had a list, all women, ultimately leading to Charlotte Riley, another amazing woman, and together we formed a terrific team. As team leader, Jami always incorporated all the suggestions we had. She worked hard to make sure she got the exact colors, pictures and feel I wanted for the site. She made it so appealing, user friendly and inviting that the site draws you in and calms you down. It is in a word; perfect!
I was dreading this project but Jami and Charlotte made it fun, easy and creative. They worked at my pace and produced a product that makes me very proud. I can not recommend Jami highly enough. I look forward to continuing our relationship for years to come. Well done Jami!

Buz Amason is the husband of another client of mine, CJ Amason, Executive Director of the Foundation for Excellence in Public Education here in Clarke County, Georgia. Buz also oversees a ministry, The Christian Faculty Forum that had been able to host a very basic, very outdated version of their website on The University of Georgia’s servers for several years.
It was time for CFF to upgrade their website and more effectively communicate with it’s members and prospective members. I built this site starting with Minimum Pro, one of my favorite Genesis child themes. I also used WP Types & Views to create a faculty directory page and used Gravity Forms to make a semi-private submission form to populate the Faculty page with entries that are approved by Buz.
Another feature that I was able to highlight with the WP Types & Views plugin was CFF’s Media page. Many of CFF’s monthly meetings are recorded and these audio clips are now able to be hosted in an attractive, easy to navigate page template.
The final hurdle that we ran into with CFF’s site was trying to get the site that I developed onto UGA’s servers, where the site had been hosted for many years. We ran into quite a few hurdles including limited access to the database, an outdated version of PHP and a lack of understanding WordPress from the tech support desk at UGA. After many months of trying to get it online, Buz finally agreed to go with my gut and we called Flywheel and had the site online and zippy-fast within a day. I can’t say enough about how a great host will make your life easier!
This was a fun project with lots of little layers of complication that stimulated and excited my brain!
I needed a total website makeover for the ministry I work for. Jami did a great job of explaining to me the options for my new website, what functionality it would have, and how I could update it. She also worked with me in getting it on a server when I had problems with the server I had been using. Overall, I am very pleased with the look of the website and the support I’ve received from Jami.

We were so impressed with Jami’s vision and depth of experience! After working with other designers, it was Jami that designed the right logo and branding to fit our company. Jami performed beautifully in branding our company, designing our website and laying out our print materials. Her work ethic is stellar and she is always fun to work with!

A few years back, I had the honor of working with an incredible woman in Atlanta that was on the ground floor of Brené Brown’s highly experiential methodology based on the research, The Daring Way™. Through this initial connection, I found myself in a delightful referral chain where I have been able to work with several counselors and therapists who have completed or are in the process of completing their Daring Way™ training.
In September of 2014, I was honored to be contacted by Carly Hanna, office manager for The Lovett Center, a community of helping professionals. Given my personal interest in coworking and collaborative work spaces, I was immediately interested in The Lovett Center because of it’s teamwork-makes-the-dreamwork approach to therapeutic work with their clients. In addition, one of the founders of The Lovett Center, Robert Hilliker, served as the Chief Clinical Officer for over three years, working alongside Brené Brown with The Daring Way™.
I was charged with taking over the project after a run with a different designer didn’t work out and I was tasked with branding, web development, social media asset design and print asset design. It was a super fun project and such a cool way for me to, yet again, have a connection with The Daring Way™.
