Each support plan runs on an automatically-renewing subscription basis. There are no contracts and your card is charged each month and you are free to cancel or upgrade/downgrade as you please.
Hosting Companies
It’s important to choose a webhost that is reliable and that has built-in support. You don’t want to be on the other end of a 40 minute wait time when you call into the support line when the shit hits the fan (because it’s not a matter of IF it hits the fan, but when).
Flywheel

My first interaction with Flywheel was as one of their first customers when they were a startup with a team of three dudes in the Silicone Prairie (Nebraska). They have since expanded and were purchased by WP Engine a few years back.

WP Engine

WP Engine is where the real nerds live. This is the hosting plan for you if you want to have an online store or will have a larger site because you will get more power and speed to load your website. It’s a little more geared toward developer-types.
The things I love about Google Domains:
- Lightening speed support — I’ve never had a support ticket open for more than an hour
- Super reliable and if anything ever gets broken, they’re quick to fix things
- So fast. Like, so fast. Got huge pictures? Or lots of products? No sweat.

Up to two hours of troubleshooting, updating content or functionality or training. You can give me a list of things to do and I’ll spend up to two hours chipping away at the list.
After the first two hours, the work is either completed and invoiced at my billable rate or stopped and picked back up the following month, whichever you prefer. This hour is a lose-it-or-lose-it and does not accrue each month. I use ClickUp for project management for this level plan and will invite you to the space and provide training on how to use it.
For folks using a preferred webhost, the price is $49/month, folks on other webhosts, the price is $99/month. If you aren’t sure which one to choose, let’s chat.
The Retainer Plan

This plan aligns me as a partner in your project and includes six hours of prepaid, on-retainer work — this could be graphic design, web work, updating the site, etc. We will utilize ClickUp to manage our tasks and communicate about work done within this retainer — don’t worry! I’ll teach you how to use it! You’ll also get a keen, nerdy eye on your content to review what is or isn’t working, search for broken links and connect your website with Google Webmaster tools + monitor any crawling errors, should they ever occur. And we’ll have a recurring, once a month meeting, video chat or phone call, to go over your site’s progress, plans for changes, etc.
